Risto, here is what is actually built

The food is not the problem

Knox News Grub Scout, July 2025: food 4.5, overall 4.25, favorite Mexican meal in a long while. About 400 Google reviews at 4.6. Your two SpotHopper sites show four Yelp quotes. Gallo Loco has the same 4.6 and about 1,300 reviews. That pile is the gap.

    Two websites, one kitchen

barrios-mexican.com Order Online goes to SpotHopper, then DoorDash and Grubhub. barriosmex.com Order Online goes to your SpotOn. Same kitchen, two buttons, two tax rates. DoorDash publishes 15 / 25 / 30 percent on delivery and 6 percent on pickup. That is their public menu, not your contract. Pickup should not pay it.

    What we built this week

A guest page at /barrios, English and Spanish, made for a phone. Call, pickup, map, hours, catering, Grub Scout, Google 4.6. The menu on that page is your printed house menu from 28 Aug 2026, not the delivery markup. Calle tacos have photos. Crafter's Brew is a one-minute walk. QR stickers at /barrios/print for the dining-room menu and to drop at Crafter's. Table tents at /barrios/crafters/print. Scan, order, walk the food over like you already do. Public address is barrios.latchmarket.io once the hostname is claimed.

    Mobile is the test

Gallo Loco is Order Online plus three popular items. El Mezcal is a 2014 page with two phone numbers. Your SpotHopper sites are a carousel and a newsletter. Ours is Menu, Call, Pickup on the first thumb. Sticky chips for tacos, plates, sides, lunch, kids, drinks. That is the determiner.

    The menu, on the phone

Calle tacos from $4, each with a photo. Birria three for $16. Street corn $5. Loaded burrito $15. Sides: rice and beans $5, queso, guacamole. Lunch burrito $10. Kids from $7.50. House margarita $8. The taco and corn numbers came off your printed menu, not made up. The plate, lunch and kids numbers are still the tablet snapshot until you confirm them.

    When you say go

    Backend, honestly

There is no Barrios database in Latch. No orders land in our CRM. The page is frontend. Pickup opens your existing SpotOn. Call dials (865) 272-5171. Sage is not on the guest page. It sits in the Latch stack until you say go. We do not invent a POS.

    What Latch already has, unused

Voice-brain already answers a Twilio line in English or Spanish. Sage already drafts. Studio already writes a paste pack from a kitchen clip. Outreach stays pending until a human taps send. Latch never auto-sends. None of that is on your number until you say go.

    When you say go

Lunch phone, when you want it

Overflow and after hours first. Sage reads the order back and drops a ticket. Dining room stays human. We do not cut over (865) 272-5171 until you say go. Two Gmail spellings: pick one. Sage drafts the reply, you send. Same for Google.

    Reviews you already earned

Knox News is on the guest page with 4.5 stars. Google 4.6 from about 400. Four real Yelp notes sit on dish photos. Gallo Loco still has the bigger pile. We do not auto-reply. You keep the last word.

    TikTok is empty

Facebook is at about 2,400 people and 94 percent would recommend you. Instagram is already yours. TikTok is the empty channel. Latch Studio writes a ready-to-paste pack from a kitchen clip. First pack is free. Two dollars after that. We do not post unless you say so.

    How we both get paid

You keep the commission you stop paying DoorDash. That savings stays in the kitchen. Latch bills Studio packs, Sage Plus at 20 or Pro at 200 if you want the assistant, and voice at cost plus 10 percent. No package price on this card. When a house later takes Latch card on a QR ticket, Latch keeps a two percent house fee on the ticket, on top of Stripe processing. Not on today. SpotOn stays the drawer.

    Known here

The table QR now stamps the phone. First scan is New. Come back another day and they are Known. No free taco invented. Recognition only, until you name a real perk.

    What I need from you

Green light on the site. Which email is real, barriosmexcantina or barriomexicantina. Confirm SpotOn is the tablet in the kitchen, or send a current menu PDF.

Three asks, Risto

Green light on the site. Which email is real. Confirm SpotOn is the kitchen tablet. Sage already talks. We do not cut over (865) 272-5171 until you say go.
